A seed packet is a promise. Here's how we keep that promise honest. Every Seedsy seller germination-tests each batch before listing: minimum 50 seeds, moist paper towel method at species-appropriate temperature, counted at 7 and 14 days. Batches below 70% germination can't be sold as standard seed. What this means for you: germination rates appear on listings as they're reported by sellers, and our moderation team spot-checks. If a batch underperforms, report it — sellers are rated, and repeat offenders lose their stall at the co-op. Testing your own seeds?
